CBSE Releases Date Sheet for Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2025
CBSE Date Sheet 2025–The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the official examination schedule for Class 10 and 12 board exams 2025. CBSE board exams will be held from February 15 to April 4, a period of 55 days.
Exam Dates:
- Start Date: February 15, 2025
- End Date: April 4, 2025
Exam Session:
- Only one session (10.30am – 1.30pm )
CBSE Board Exams Date sheet 2025: Diverse Subjects Across 55 Days
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams for Class 10 and 12 in 2025 will encompass a wide range of subjects, spanning from Entrepreneurship and Capital Market Operation to Biotechnology, various Dance forms, Hindi, English, and more. The exams will be held from February 15 to April 4, 2025, covering a period of 55 days.
The date sheets have been issued 86 days before the start of the exams, which is 23 days earlier than in 2024.This early release was made possible due to the timely submission of the List of Candidates by schools. The benefits of releasing the date sheet early include:
1.Students can begin their preparation well ahead of time, reducing anxiety and enhancing performance.
2. Families and teachers can better plan summer vacations and other commitments, taking the examination and evaluation schedules into account.
3. Teachers will not be away from school for extended periods, ensuring that the education of non-board classes remains uninterrupted.
CBSE Date Sheet 2025 important issues
CBSE, is releasing the date sheet for both the classes X & XII of Board’s Examinations, 2025. While preparing the date sheet, the Board has taken care of the following issues:
1. Sufficient Gap has been given in between two subjects generally offered bya student in both the classes.
2. Competitive examinations, including JEE Main have been taken care of while preparing the date sheet for Class XII.
3. These date sheets have been prepared by avoiding more than 40,000 subjects’ combinations to ensure that no two subjects’ examinations of a student fall on the same date.
4. The time of the start of the examination will be at 10:30 AM (IST).
5. Date-sheet is issued much in advance so that students can prepare well for their examinations.
6.During the evaluation period, efforts have been made to ensure that teachers of all subjects are not absent from schools for extended periods.
